Protects the battery from damage due to excessive discharge. Equipped with ready-made cables and connectors that facilitate and accelerate installation.
The vast majority of battery damage in security systems is caused by discharging them to a voltage below 10V. This results in a loss of capacity and a very high charging current. The task of the presented module is to disconnect the battery from the powered devices if its voltage drops below 10.3V. After disconnecting the battery, the protective module is also automatically disconnected, without causing further power consumption. The MZ1A module is mounted on a strong self-adhesive tape and has ready-made 30cm cables with 4.8mm plugs for the battery. The board also has male connectors for connecting the alarm control panel, buffer power supply or other devices. This shortens the device installation time to a maximum of 20 seconds.
